You have already taken the victory as you read through today’s Bible studies. “Whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world” (1 John 5:4). Know that Jesus Christ has already taken the victory and has made us overcomers.
Therefore, whatever you’re going through right now is just an event, it will soon pass away, and it will be your testimony.
“To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna.” -Revelation 2:17
God empowers you to overcome the problems you’re facing, that issue in the marriage, the workplace, and that problem giving you sleepless night.
He knew you would overcome it.
Speak the word of God over any problems you’re facing, and it will go.
“Blessed be the LORD, my rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle”. –Psalm 144:1
David’s confidence was securely placed in the Rock-solid, unshakeable foundation of God Almighty. As a submitted king, David prayed here for God, the King of Kings, to empower him so that he could subdue his enemies.
This is why David had so many victories in the wars he fought. God entrusted him for victory. David’s prayer was for actual physical warfare, but we need the same kind of empowerment in spiritual warfare.
This should be a regular prayer for those of us who are engaged in the battle for people’s souls. We need God to teach our fingers and hands to fight strategically in the ongoing war.
There is a spiritual war out there that each of us participates in, whether we realize it or not. When God prepares us spiritually for battle, the result is victory. Adequate preparation always leads to success.
Without adequate preparation in the Spirit, we cannot win the battles of life. But when God empowers us, no weapon fashioned against us shall prosper. Therefore, do not give the enemy a chance to ruin your life. Resist him through prayers and fasting, and he will depart from you.
“LORD, be our Rock and prepare our fingers, hands and hearts for the battles ahead.” Let me overcome all forms of temptations today in Jesus’ name.
