Walk In The Glory Of The Lord (The Presence Of Our Monarch)

In the midst of chaos and fears of the pandemic in our world today, God is looking for people who will stand in the gap and long to see his glory.

Believers who will turn away with tears to hunt some lonely place and pray, “O God, show me thy glory.”

God is looking for people who want to taste, touch with their hearts, and see the wonder that is God with their inner eyes.

In today’s Bible studies, we will focus on how to attain the glory of God upon your life. Remove yourself from every form of distraction as you read on.

2 Corinthians 3:15-18

15 ‘But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart. 16 Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord’.

The Apostle Paul is teaching a profound truth here in his letter to the church in Corinth. We are beholding the glory of God as in a mirror. In the process, we are transforming into God’s image.

The angels of God behold God’s glory daily. It is no wonder that each time humans have an encounter with an angel, it is full of light, pure and incomparable to anything they have seen on earth – pure, immaculate white light.

God is inviting us to the same experience. We can be definite to say that if we too gaze daily into the glory of God, we will eventually become like Him.

If that is what sustains the angels in heaven in God’s presence, the same will support us. The glory will bring an end to all the struggles we go through to represent God on earth.

There are too many distractions in our lives today that take our focus off the glory of God. In our closets, we must suspend every other thing and focus on God.

When we get out of our prayer closets, we will not struggle to maintain that focus. Incidentally, it is out there that we need His glory to shine on our faces, and that is where we struggle because most people do not spend time in His presence.

Each of us knows whatever blocks His glory from shining over us. We must strive to deal with these things so we can perpetually radiate the fullness of His glory.

Prayer To walk In The Glory Of The Lord

O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need for further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, the Triune God, I want to have Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory; I pray O Lord.
Amen.

CONFESSION

I am a candidate for God’s glory on earth. I declare by the grace of God that I will stay in His presence every moment of my life, wherever I am, and in any situation, I am in. I know in doing this, His glory will continually shine over me, and I will constantly reflect His glory on earth in the name of Jesus.
