Do Not Give The Enemy A Chance.

Do not give the enemy a chance to rule over your life!

Jesus Christ has given us perfect victory over the devil and demon powers. That was His part. Our part is to enforce and keep the victory and live our lives as victorious Christians. The purpose of today’s bible studies is to help us do this.

We have seen how important it is that we know who we are in Christ Jesus. When we received the Lord Jesus into our hearts, we were born into the beloved family of God. Our names were written in the records of heaven.

Because of this, we have a divine authority which we may exercise to control our enemy here on earth.

Nehemiah 6:3-4

“And I sent messengers unto them, saying, I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you? Yet they sent unto me four times after this sort, and I answered them after the same manner.”

In the days of Nehemiah, he had a great deal of opposition, and his only “crime” was that he was serving the purpose of God. His enemies tried everything they knew to stop him and destroy him, but he didn’t give them a chance.

Such is life; anytime you decide to use your life for something worthwhile like serving God, you get attacks from enemies. Every Christian or leader needs to adopt Nehemiah’s attitude about life.

We all need to be able to say “no” to anything that would distract us from doing what God has called us to do, whether the enemy attempts to get us off track or our failures.

MORAL LESSON

We all have imperfections. Our heavenly Father knows when we are trying and when we are not. What we need to do is to be willing to keep trying, determined to hang on to Him, and we shall have victory in the end. Ignore your enemies, don’t give them a chance.

PRAYER

“LORD, help us to be strong enough to resist the works of the enemy and stand firm in you to the end. AMEN!!!
