Verzuz is an American webcast series created by record producers Timbaland and Swizz Beatz, that airs on Verzuz TV.
Verzuz was introduced during the COVID-19 pandemic as a virtual DJ battle, with Timbaland and Swizz Beatz facing off in its first iteration through an Instagram Live broadcast in March 2020.
The Easter Sunday Verzuz battle between gospel singers Mary Mary and BeBe & CeCe Winans proved to be nostalgic to many fans.
The musical competition series, created by producers Timbaland and Swizz Beatz, aired its Easter special episode with two sibling duos going up against each other – sisters Erica Campbell and Trecina Atkins-Campbell, aka Mary Mary, and brother-and-sister duo BeBe & CeCe Winans.

Fans Decide Who Won The Easter Sunday Verzuz
Many fans tuned in to watch the Verzuz battle between Mary Mary and BeBe & CeCe Winans.
After the show, several fans took to Twitter to express who they thought had won the competition.
While Stevie Wonder, who was one of the esteemed attendees, thought both teams had tied, some fans feel otherwise.
Although everyone appreciated how talented BeBe & CeCe were, most fans believed Mary Mary were the clear winners.
“Mary Mary are going to win because BeBe and CeCe can’t remember the words to their own songs. 😭#Verzuz,” one fan wrote.
“I enjoyed tonight. I’ll accept Stevie’s admission that it was a tie, but I was leaning towards Mary Mary, but BeBe & CeCe are gospel legends,” said another.
“Mary Mary clearly won, but those “Lost Without You” and “Addictive Love” performances won too, so I’m content. #Verzuz” wrote another user.

Winans Family Take Over
As the duo was performing their hit song Lost Without You, BeBe called on her actress-niece Deborah Joy Winans and her singer-songwriter newphew Juan Winans to join them on stage.
The Competitors Harmonize Together
Both teams joined forces at one point after the Winans siblings wrapped up the epic song Lost Without You. They continued freestyling and soon, Mary Mary melodically sang along.
