Even while incarcerated, celebrities continue to conduct business. Young rapper YNW Melly continues to create new music while jailed.
Although the 22-year-old faces a life sentence for the double homicide, that hasn’t stopped him from pursuing a career in music.
Additionally, according to insiders, the musician worked hard to create his most recent album, “Just A Matter Of Slime,” while he was imprisoned. Even when it is threatened with the death penalty, creativity never stops.
From inside a prison, YNW Melly used some connections to produce his latest album, “Just A Matter Of Slime.” The rapper was reportedly putting the finishing touches on his new record when TMZ first broke the news.
Additionally, the rapper and singer spent 8 months creating the album, and he also enlisted the aid of some of his well-known buddies. Young Thug, Future, and Lil Uzi Vert are just a few rappers with whom YNW Melly “spent hours securing collabs,” according to TMZ.
He even collaborated with sound engineers to make “Just A Matter Of Slime” a reality. Before his 2019 arrest, YNW Melly had already finished writing his lyrics for the record, and YNW Melly intended to release the record in some capacity.
On August 12, he made a couple more phone calls to advertise his record. Many fans believed the rapper had been released after hearing about his album’s promotion. However, YNW Melly is still in jail.
YNW Melly is still required to serve time even though she produced an album. As previously noted, in February 2019, YNW Melly was detained and accused of two charges of murder. Prosecutors request the death penalty for both YNW Melly and YNW Bortlen defendants.
Due to the suspected murders of YNW Sakchaser and Juvy, both men were charged with capital crimes. Additionally, the investigation report disclosed that Melly and his helper staged the killings as a drive-by shooting.
According to authorities, the two dead bodies were also believed to have been driven around by the alleged killers before being left at a nearby hospital.
The court date for YNW Melly’s trial case is also quickly approaching. We can only hope that the rapper learns his lesson and can return to providing his fans with new music.
